Santa Maria Della Salute

This MOC recreates Venice’s landmark Santa Maria della Salute, a brick model of Baroque architecture. Built mainly with off-white and light grey bricks, it restores the church’s iconic huge dome and symmetrical bell towers on both sides. Plenty of golden decorative pieces adorn the dome and facade. The exquisite triangular pediment, carved columns and black carved main gate on the front are faithfully reproduced. Vintage street lamps, palm trees and climbing vines decorate the base, bringing the romantic vibe of Venice. The building has rich structural layers. Curved dome and complicated decorative details are cleverly realized with bricks. Elegant and solemn, it is an excellent collectible MOC for fans of European classical architecture, showing great artistic beauty on static display.
